What It Catches.
Context
It reads the last few messages before deciding. "you're so bad at this" between friends mid-game is banter. The same words aimed at a new member aren't.
Fake Links
Lookalike domains like dlscord-gift.com get deleted the moment they're posted. No AI call needed, so this keeps working after the free checks run out.
Hacked Accounts
One account posting the same link in four channels in ten seconds gets every copy deleted and a timeout.
Filter Dodging
Spaced-out letters, lookalike characters and words split across three messages are put back together before checking.
Names
Members calling themselves "Server Support" or "Mod Team" get flagged, along with names that break your rules.
Members At Risk
If someone seems to be in a bad place, your mods get a private heads-up. Sift never replies to them in public.
Raids
A burst of new accounts alerts your mods, and can lock the server for you. Unlocking puts every channel back exactly how it was.
Mass Deletes
Anyone deleting channels or roles in bulk is stopped, even if they have the permissions to do it.

Your Mods Still Make The Call.
Anything Sift isn't sure about lands in your log channel with the message, the reason and the member's history. One button to approve, warn, time out or ban.
Walk through open cases one at a time without scrolling the log.
Points add up to a timeout at 3, a kick at 14 and a ban at 20, and expire after 30 days. Change any of it, or turn it off.
Members can appeal, which opens a private ticket with your team.

What Max Adds.
Your Rules
Write up to 10 rules the way you'd say them. "No asking for account logins." Sift checks every message against each one.
Server Network
Link up to 5 servers you own. A ban in one reaches all of them, blocklists merge, and a raid on one warns the rest.
Deeper Context
Reads the last 25 messages instead of 6, and double-checks anything flagged or close to it before acting.
Weekly Report
Every Monday: what was caught, repeat offenders and how often mods overturned Sift. Export every case to CSV any time.

Questions.
Does Sift store our messages?
Only the ones it flags. Those become a case your mods can review, and the text is deleted 90 days after the case is closed. Everything else is checked and forgotten.
What happens when the free checks run out?
Smart checks pause until the 1st of the month. Link blocking, spam limits, raid protection and your blocklist keep running. Your log channel gets a heads-up at 80%.
Will it ban people on its own?
Only if you let it. The strike ladder is on by default and every step can be changed or switched off in /setup.
Can I keep it out of some channels?
Yes. Exempt channels and roles in /setup, and add words to the allowlist if Sift keeps flagging something your server says a lot.
How much are Premium and Sift Max?
Planned at a flat $5 and $15 a month per server, not on sale yet. Both will be subscriptions through Discord, so billing and cancelling happen there.
What does a Sift Max network share?
Bans, blocklists and raid alerts, between servers with the same owner. The server that starts the network needs Max; the others are covered by it.
